Virginia Vera Ballentine Cook was born on April 4, 1923 in Indiana, and she passed away on June 17, 2025 at her residence in Celina, Tennessee at the age of 102.
Ms. Virginia was a loving wife and mother. She was a faithful Christian who loved her Bible and was a part of the Wesleyan Church where her late husband also preached the Word for many years.
Survivors include her daughter: Deborah Webb of Celina, TN; grandchildren: Lynn, Lisha, Teresa (Carl), David (Carol), Jamie (Mike); great grandchildren: Tennille, Tanya, Candice, Darryl, Frank, Rachelle, Shay, Daniel, Chloe, Jakob, Christian, Alyssa; Great great grandchildren: Brandon, Zachary, Caleb, Sophia, August, Hannah, Eli, Madelyn, Alexander, Matthew, Jasmine, Owen, Olivia, Raylin, Hanlee, Laytin, Ivalee, Joslin, Lainey, Kyle and a host of friends and family also survive.
Preceded in death is her husband Rev. CL Cook; daughter: Eva Arleen Ballentine Dail; grandson: John Dail; great grandson: James Harrison and Great great grandson Seth Dunbar.
The Cook family has chosen a private burial in the Cherry Family Cemetery located on Cherry Cemetery Road in the Union Hill Community of Clay County, TN. The private burial will be held on Friday, June 20, 2025.
