Tammy Carol Henson, born on June 10, 1966, in Tompkinsville, Kentucky, passed away on August 3, 2026, at The Medical Center in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Tammy’s life was filled with love for her family, devotion to her passions, and the joy she found in simple pleasures.

The cherished daughter of Roger Brady and Barbara Gail Plumlee Pedigo, Tammy established deep roots in the community she called home. She was a loving and steadfast presence for her family and friends, always putting those she cared about above all else. Tammy's soul was most at peace in the company of her loved ones, and she considered her family her proudest accomplishment. She will be remembered fondly for the love, warmth, and encouragement she extended generously throughout her life.

Tammy is survived by her devoted husband of twenty-seven years, Jonathon Henson, and her beloved son, Gabriel Henson and wife Allyson. She was a stepmother to Rebecca Henson and Andrew Henson. Her ties to family were further enriched by her sister, Lisa Spivey, along with her dear grandchildren: Riggs Brady, Kyzer Keys, Lennox Keys, and Kyra Keys. Tammy’s love for her family extended to her niece, Ashley Keys and husband Timmy Keys, and her nephew, Justin Spivey. Tammy's memory also lives on through all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her brother, Tommy Brady, whose memory she also held close.

Tammy was an individual full of life, known especially for her independent spirit and compassionate heart. She was delighted in being a hobby farmer, caring for her animals, and had affection for her chickens. The rhythms of farm life brought her immense joy, as did spending time with her children and grandchildren, making memories together in every season.

Those who knew Tammy will always remember her sense of style and her appreciation for beauty. She loved having her nails, hair, and eyelashes done, expressing her individuality and warmth in every detail. These small joys were a source of confidence and happiness for her, reflecting a zest for life that inspired others.

Visitation will be held at Clay County Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and again on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. on August 5, 2026, at Clay County Funeral Home, with Bro. Nick Melton officiating. Burial will follow in the Pitcock Cemetery.

Tammy's life was a testament to love, resilience, and the enduring bonds of family. She leaves behind cherished memories, a legacy of kindness, and the enduring love of those fortunate enough to have been part of her journey. She will be dearly missed and forever held in the hearts of her family and friends.
