Steve Vickers

Steve Vickers was born on July 12, 1959, in Cookeville, TN. He passed away at Celina Health and Rehab on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at the age of 67.

Steve was the son of Danny Vickers and Bobbie Sue Carlile Thompson. He was a Church of Christ Minister.

He was preceded in death by his parents; stepfather, Austin Sarge Thompson, stepmother; Pat Vickers, brother; Mickey Vickers.

Survived by his son, Lance Steven Vickers of Cookeville, TN, daughter; Brandi Suzanne Vickers; brother, Michael (Karen) Thompson of Celina, TN, sister; Tonya (Jeremy) Smith of Whitleyville, TN, grandchildren; Brynlee Vickers of Cookeville, TN, Hallie Vickers of Cookeville, TN, Alexis Flatt of Cookeville, TN, and Bryson Vickers of Cookeville, TN.

The family has chosen to honor his wishes of being cremated. No services are planned currently.
