Stacy Larue Brown of Moss, Tennessee was born on February 14, 1959 in Tompkinsville, Kentucky, and he passed away on Monday, June 30, 2025, at the age of 66 at his residence in Moss.

Stacy was the son of Elbert Aaron Brown and Ava Frances Plumlee Brown. He was a jack of all trades working as a truck driver and logger for many years. He was a devoted Tennessee Fan. A true Vol for Life.

He is proceeded in death by his parents, and brother Danny Brown.

Stacy is survived by his son: Lucas (Britney) Brown of Moss, TN; grandchildren: Harper Brown, Miles Brown, and Emmett Brown; sisters: Deborah Sigears of Murfreesboro, TN, and Sherry (Arnold) Holman of Lascassas, TN; sister-in-law Tamara Brown of Des Plaines, IL; several nieces, nephews, and cousins as well as a host of friends and family also survive.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Also, visitation will continue on Thursday from 8:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. on Thursday, July 3, 2025, in the Chapel of Clay County Funeral Home with Dr. Kenneth Beaty officiating. Burial will follow in Pitcock Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to assist with his funeral expense by contacting the funeral home.
