Sharon Kay Walker

Sharon Kay Walker, born on January 17, 1960, in Gainesboro, Tennessee to the late Andrew and Mary Jo Keisling, passed away at the age of 65 on December 22, 2025 in Celina, Tennessee. Sharon was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, Mimi, and friend to all that knew her. She worked as a LPN for 33 years at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Sharon was a faithful child of God, a member of the Beech Bethany Church of Christ. She married her husband, the late Wilbur B. Walker, on September 2, 1988. Together they had one son, Andrew C. Walker, who was her pride and joy. She was a loving Mimi to her babies: Sawyer, Charlie, Nellie, and Dana Walker who were the light of her world.

Sharon is survived by Son: Andrew (Tanna) Walker of the Milestown Community in Clay County,TN; Grandchildren: Sawyer, Charlie, Nellie, and Dana Walker all of the Milestown Community in Clay County, TN; Brother: Jeffery (Tammy) Keisling of Celina, TN; Sister: Sarah (David) Wiley of Cookeville, TN; Nieces: Amanda (William) Matheny of Byrdstown, TN, Leanna (Noel) Smith of Rickman, TN; Nephew: William (Heather) Meadows of Celina, TN; and a host of family and friends who also survive.

Sharon is preceded in death by Parents: Andrew and Mary Jo Keisling; Husband: Wilbur B. Walker; Uncle: Sammy Keisling; Aunts: Jean Ahlberg, Jean Smith, and Lillian Dale.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2025 from 5pm to 9pm and Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2025 from 8 am to 11 am.  Funeral services will be conducted at 11 am on Wednesday, December 24, 2025 in the chapel of Clay County Funeral Home with Bro. Kenny Westmoreland officiating. Burial will follow in the Walker Cemetery.  

The family requests in lieu of flowers that donations be made to future educational funds for her grandbabies.
