Nell Dean (Ledbetter)Dailey

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved mother Nell Dean Dailey.

Born to Joe Bob and Ada Ledbetter, she is proceeded in death by her husband of 70 years Charlie William Dailey of Celina, TN and her four sisters.

Nell Dean also leaves behind her son, Charles Dailey (Sherri) of Hendersonville. TN and her daughter Shirley (Jimmy) Breedlove of Livingston, TN.

Nell Dean’s residence was a magical place for her three grandsons, Eugene, Christopher and Shaun. With the addition of five great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren, Granny and Popi’s became “GrandMa City” where the magic and excitement lives on.

As a member of Celina Baptist Church since 1964, Nell Dean shared her laughter and love of life with many throughout these many years. Blessed with friends and family her memory will not be forgotten.

And a lady who has given her precious heart as a caregiver and dear friend for many years, Ms. Emma Brown of Celina.

Visitation will be held on February 28,2026 from 3:00pm till 8:00pm

Funeral services will be held on Sunday March 1, 2026, at 2:00pm in the chapel of Clay County Funeral Home with Bro Eric Copass officiating. Burial will follow in Fitzgerald - Hamilton Addition.
