Laura Ann Brown, 66, was born on March 14, 1960, in Ohio, and she passed away peacefully at her residence in Celina, Tennessee, on August 1, 2026. Throughout her life, Laura touched the hearts of those around her through a remarkable blend of kindness, vivid memory, and an unwavering devotion to family.

Laura was the cherished daughter of Palo Brown and Lois Louise Nichols Brown. She is remembered for her deep love for her family, delight in simple pleasures, and the lasting connections she fostered over the years. Laura's ability to recall people and remember details, even from decades past, was legendary among her friends and family. It was this gift that made every encounter with her special—she greeted both loved ones and acquaintances with warmth and familiarity, no matter how much time had passed.

Family was Laura's greatest joy and source of pride. She is survived by her loving sisters: Linda (Jerry)  Roach of Celina, TN, Emma (Rexie) Webb of Celina, TN , Frances (Joe) Belevins of Ohio, and Beth Brown of Ohio. Laura's special relationship with Linda, who served as her sole caregiver, was especially significant and a testament to the unbreakable bonds of sisterhood. She is also remembered fondly by her cherished nephews and nieces: Jermey, Brayden, Kyla, Kyeshia, Collin, Tracy, and Joshua Smith, each of whom held a meaningful place in her life; along with several other nieces and nephews, extended family members and friends also survive.

Laura was preceded in death by her parents: Palo Brown and Lois Louise Nichols Brown; siblings: Paul Brown, Steve Brown, Billy Brown, Carlos Brown, Kathy Lawson, Elise Masters, Helen Edmonds, and Jessie Boles.

A woman of vibrant interests, Laura found joy in an array of personal passions. She loved her Trolls, Care Bears, and bracelets, and she took great pride in her jewelry and her long hair. She cherished opportunities to brush hair—her own or sometimes that of her loved ones—and brightened moments with music and joyful coloring. Watching her sisters' children grow up brought her immense happiness, and she treasured looking at family photographs, each picture a story she could recall with detail.

Laura approached life with a unique appreciation for even the simplest things. She enjoyed trips to Walmart, getting her nails done, and activities that gave her quiet pleasure and contentment. She could always recall where all her belongings came from and who had gifted them to her, a subtle testament to her deep sense of gratitude and connection.

Those privileged to know Laura remember her not just for what she did but for how she made them feel.  Her legacy endures in the bonds she nurtured and in the countless stories retold by family and friends.

Graveside services for Laura will be held on Sunday, August 2, 2026, at 10:00 A.M. in the Hamilton Addition of the Fitzgerald Cemetery with Mr. Jeff Smith officiating. 

Laura Ann Brown’s memory will be cherished dearly, and her loving spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched.
