Jarred Allen Scott

Jarred Allen Scott was born on February 29, 1988, in Glasgow, KY and he passed away in Celina on Friday, January 9, 2026, at the age of 37.

Jarred was the son of Michael Wix and Sandra "Kick" Scott Upchurch.

He was preceded in death by his parents, maternal grandparents, Claude and Helen Scott, paternal grandparents, Herschel and Polly Wix and his fur baby Kilo.

Survived by: brother, Michael Toy (Spencer) Wix and child Gracie of Columbia, TN; sisters, Kolini Verity of Columbia, TN, Heather Benedict and her children Azariah and Cabe all of FL; Aunt: Cindy (Gary) Shoopman of Burkesville, KY; Susan (Jimmy) Burchett of Marietta, GA and Jill Hinton of TN; Uncle Jack (Wanda) Wix; special cousins, Linsey (Beasley) and kids Kolton and Kailey, Brooke (Scott) and kids Addison and Elliott, Ryan (Krystina) and kids Greenleigh and Novaleigh and Spencer (Alaina) with their child Rylee; special friend, Cheryl Scott and love of his life Brittany Short.

Visitation will be on Sunday 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. at Clay County Funeral Home. Memorial Services will be held on Sunday, January 18, 2026, at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Clay County Funeral Home with Eli Watson officiating.
