Haskell "Hack" Bailey

Haskell "Hack" Bailey , was born on March 18, 1951 in Celina, Tennessee, and he passed away on August 11, 2025 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center at the age of 74.

Hack was preceded in death by his mother, Otha Mae Bailey, and his sister, Sandra Faye Barnett.

Hack was a member of the Free Hill Church of Christ. He also proudly served his country in the United States Army, exemplifying a commitment to service that he carried throughout his life. Following his military career, he found great fulfillment in his role as a beloved employee at Walmart, where he was known for his dedication and warm spirit. His colleagues often spoke fondly of him, noting that you could always find Hack in the Gardening Center.

Hack is survived by his daughters, Sheritta Bailey of Indianapolis, IN; Taneeka Wagner of Florida and sons, Derrick Davis, Darnell Davis. He is also remembered by his nephew, Carl (Amber) Philpott of Celina, TN, along with his friends and work family at Walmart, who will carry his memory in their hearts.

A visitation will be held on August 16, 2025 from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Clay County Funeral Home located at 423 Brown Street, Celina, TN followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM with Bro. Marty Gribble officiating and interment will follow in the Free Hill Cemetery. As we honor the life of Haskell "Hack" Bailey, we celebrate the joy he brought to those around him and the legacy of love he leaves behind.
