Harley Lee Rettig

Harley Lee Rettig was born on February 8, 1946, in Wabash, IN and he passed away at Integrity Healthcare of Celina on Sunday, September 13, 2026, at the age of 80.

Harley was the son of George Otto Rettig and Lois Ellis Rettig. He was a Free Mason, and a Sponze Record Holder in Florida. He was a maintenance engineer.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife of 46 years, Sandra Rettig who passed away March 5, 2025, sister, Joann Owen, brother-in-law, Bill Owen, stepdaughter, Catherine Snell, grandchildren, Amanda Foster, Justin Lopez Jr., Danny Snell, son-in-law, Eddie Lopez.

Survived by his sons, Terry Rettig of Dallas, TX and Ken (Dorothy) Rettig of Gastonia, NC; daughter, Carol (Jay Reagan) Rettig of Celina, TN; grandchildren, Krystle (Josh) Broyles of NC, Catherine (Chris) Parker of Celina, TN, Laure (Casondra) Rettig of NC, Kenny (Josefina) Rettig of CA, Megan (Tu) Lopez of Cookeville, TN, Turk Howard of Celina, TN, Laura (Stephen) Groce of Celina, TN, Tiffany Romanelli of Celina, TN, Randy Bledsoe of Celina, TN; 29 great grandchildren; 18 great- great- grandchildren; stepson, Clinton Snell of Athens, TN and stepdaughter, Joanne Bledsoe of Celina, TN.

Visitation will be on Saturday, Oct. 3, 2026, 12:00 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Clay County Funeral Home. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Clay County Funeral Home with Bro. Michael Miller officiating.
