Gaye Price

Gaye Price was born on December 23, 1943, in Clay County, TN and she passed away at Macon County General Hospital on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at the age of 82.

Gaye was the daughter of Hobert Jones and Christine Cherry Jones. She was a member of Union Hill Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents, father of her children, Haskell Jr. Lee, daughter, Libby Chris Lee, daughter in law, Deanny Lee, brothers, Jim Jones and Glen Tom (Janet) Jones, sisters, Sue Ann (Ray) Murphy, and Delva (Charlie) Short.

Survived by: son, Mark (Connie) Lee of Whitleyville, TN; grandchildren, Zachary (Brett) Lee of Hermitage Springs, TN, Katelyn (Johnny) Coffee of South Carthage, TN, step-grandchildren, Tyler (Kenlie) Clark of Lafayette, TN, Jenna (Owen) Browning of Hermitage Springs, TN, Connor Johnson of Hermitage Springs, TN; step great- grandchildren, Tate and Haze Clark of Lafayette, TN; former husband: Jack Price of Lafayette, TN. Nieces and nephews, Sonya (Calvin) Smith of Moss, TN; Tena Bass of Fl; Chuck Short, Danny Short both of Louisville, KY and Anthony Jones of the Union Hill Community. Other relatives and friends also survive.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Clay County Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Union Hill Church of Christ with Bro. John Carlisle officiating. Burial will follow in the Union Hill Cemetery.
