Diane Willis

Diane Willis was born on February 8, 1960, in Celina, TN and passed away at Cookeville Regional Medical Center on Friday, July 24, 2026, at the age of 66.

Diane was the daughter of Thurman Edward Smith and Dorothy Louise Walker Smith. She was a member of New Hope Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Chad Alan Grimsley and Kelly Joe Grimsley; sister, Alice Faye Smith.

Survived by: brother; Edward J. (Shelia) Smith of Summer Shade, KY; sister, Janie L. Smith Simpson of Glasgow, KY; grandchildren, Katie D. Grimsley of Summer Shade, KY, Mason J. Smith of Knob Lick, KY; great grandchild; Chevy Alan Grimsley Reeves of Summer Shade, KY; Companion; Edward Short of Celina, TN; Cousin and Dear Friend, Tammie Melton of Moss, TN.

Visitation will be on Monday, July 27, 2026, 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday, 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Clay County Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Clay County Funeral Home with Bro. Jason Dodson officiating. Burial will follow in the New Hope Cemetery.
