David A. Allred

David A. Allred was born on August 19, 1957 in Livingston, TN, and he passed away at his residence in Celina on Thursday, February 26, 2026 at the age of 68.

David was the son of Elbert Ray Allred and Joyce Odeva Copeland Davis. He was a retired former District Captain of the Cookeville District of the Tennessee Highway Patrol and also a member of FOP.

He was preceded in death by his parents, step-father, Andrew Thomas Davis, son, Adam David Allred.

Survived by: daughters, Nastasia (Elijah) Cantrell of Oak Ridge, TN, Brooke (Michael) Phillips of Monterey, TN; brothers, Randy (Rene) Davis of Celina, TN, Tim (Brenda) Allred of IN; sister, Jackie Danner of Celina, TN; grandchildren, Alyssa Phillips of Monterey, Colton Phillips of Monterey, Castellan Cantrell of Oak Ridge, TN and Ashton (Mack) Mutchmore of Cookeville.

To honor his wishes, David will be cremated.   A Memorial Service will be on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at 1:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Clay County Funeral Home.
