Danny Kay Anderson

Danny Kay Anderson was born on August 17, 1972 in Somerset, KY and passed away at his residence surrounded by his family on Thursday morning, August 14, 2025 at the age of 52.

Danny was the son of Tommy Wayne Anderson and Alma Lois Morrow Dixon. He was a member of Celina First Baptist Church, a member of the Dale Hollow Knife Club. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, collecting knives and antique cars.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Wayne Anderson, father who raised him Johnny Cornbread and paternal grandmother, Sylvia Keith.

Survived by: spouse Shelia Anderson; Daughters Latisha (David) Key of Celina TN, Cassondra Abbott (Steve) Cornell of Celina TN and Tonya Day of Cookeville TN; brother Eddie Eugene Anderson of Bronston KY; sisters Donna (Doug) Rose of NC, Debbie Anderson of Somerset KY, Sylvia Ann (Tom) Powell of Monticello KY and Joyce Dotson of Monticello KY; father Tommy Wayne (Darlene) Anderson of Monticello KY; mother Lois Dixon of Monticello KY; grandchildren, Joseph (Dan) Key, Tasha (Branden) Davis, Jaden Williamson, Katie Key, Eliza Jenkins (Briley) Eldridge, Caden Copeland, Calleigh Cornell, Annabelle Taylor, Reghan Taylor, Isaiah Pace and Ivy Pace; great grandchildren, Waylen Davis and Jacob Davis;

Visitation will be at Celina First Baptist Church on Saturday, August 16, 2025 from 12 noon till 8 pm and Sunday 10 am to 2 pm at Celina First Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 17, 2025 at 2:00 pm at Celina First Baptist Church with Bro. Eric Copass officiating. Burial will follow in the Greene Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Dewayne Jackson, Joe Schmucker, Kenny Butterworth, Mac Whisner, Tracy Mills, Rickey Melton,  Austin Kirk, and Carl Ledbetter. Honorary Pallbearers are David Key, Steve Cornell, Briley Eldridge, and Eli Schmucker. Truck Drivers are Matt Butterworth and John Mark Anderson.
