Daniel Max Long

Daniel Max Long was born on September 22, 1955, in Decatur, IN and he passed away on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at the age of 69 at Celina Health and Rehab.

Daniel was married to Lori Ward- Long for 43 years. He was known as a licensed electrician who enjoyed helping anyone in need.

He is preceded in death by his parents: William J. Long and Rose “Myers” Long; Sister: Rose Long.

Survivors include his Wife: Lori Ward- Long of Moss, TN; Sons: Timothy (Kristy) Long of Clearwater, MI; Steven (Kerry) Long of Battle Creek, MI; Daughter: Tiffany (Jason) Scaffner of Gibsonburg, OH; Brothers: Mike Long of Auburn, IN; Davie Long of Auburn, IN; Sister: Beth Foss of Phoenix, AZ; also survived by 15 grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Saturday, March 22, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. in the Chapel of the Clay County Funeral Home with visitation following till 5:00 p.m.
