Calvin Hendley

Calvin Hendley, age 65, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 25, 2026, at Livingston Regional Hospital. Born in Franklin, Indiana, on August 14, 1961, he was the beloved son of the late Wilbur J. Hendley and Eva Charlene Burns Hendley.

An avid outdoorsman, Calvin had a deep passion for nature. He loved spending time outside and sharing his love for the outdoors with his family. Above all, Calvin was a devoted family man who cherished every moment spent with his children and grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbur and Eva Hendley, and his brother, Harold Ray.

His memory will be forever cherished by his surviving family: his son, Kevin (Tammy Shepherd) Hendley of Gainesboro, TN; his daughters, Kayla (Cain) Maynard of Gainesboro, TN, and Heather Hendley of Cookeville, TN; and his brother and sister, Randall Hendley of Moss, TN, and Pandora (Dale) Reagan of Moss, TN.

He is also survived by his beloved grandchildren, Austin Hendley, Aleigha Maynard, Alexis Maynard, Ava Hendley, Emma Hendley, Hunter Hendley, Skyla Shew, Bella Layne, and Bentley Davis; his niece, Tina (Landon) Melton; his nephew, Scotty (Sarah) Reagan; as well as three great-nieces, one great-nephew, and one great-great-nephew.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the funeral home to assist the family with final expenses, by contacting the funeral home.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
