Bengie Dean Strong

Bengie Dean Strong was born July 3, 1959 in Clay County, TN and she passed away on Sunday, May 18, 2025 at Celina Health and Rehab in Celina at the age of 65.

She was the daughter of William Richard Adams and Fannie Mae Scott Adams. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.

Mrs. Strong was preceded in death by her parents, husband; Joe Thomas Strong who passed away on April 8, 2019; niece, Ann Deckard and cousin Betty Lois Garrett.

Survivors include her daughter, Katelynn Renee Strong of Celina; brother, Donald (Jennifer) Adams of Celina; sister, Sandra (Lannie Kelley) Maxfield of Lafayette.  Hosts of nieces and nephews along with other relatives and friends also survive.

Visitation will be on Monday, May 19, 2025 from 12 pm to 8 pm and Tuesday, 8 am to 2 pm at Clay County Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at 2 pm in the chapel of Clay County Funeral Home with Bro. Dale Reagan officiating.  Burial will follow in Macedonia Cemetery.
