B J Ledbetter

B J Ledbetter was born on October 31, 1952, in Livingston, TN and he passed away at Cookeville Regional Medical Center on Sunday, September 13, 2026, at the age of 73.

Mr. Ledbetter was an auto mechanic.

B J was the son of Connor Ledbetter and Norma Ruth Ledbetter.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Johnny Ledbetter and Larry Ledbetter.

He is survived by his sister, Sandra Hargis of Celina, TN; nephew, Shane Ledbetter of Cookeville, TN; niece, Nicole (Gerald) Davis of Celina, TN; 2 great nephews, Austin Key of Celina, TN and Caleb Key of Clearwater, FL; one great niece, Valerie Scott, great- great-niece, Nova Scott and special cousin, David White of Livingston, TN.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Visitation will continue Thursday, September 17, 2026, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Clay County Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 17, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Clay County Funeral Home with Shane Ledbetter officiating. Burial will follow in Hamilton Addition of the Fitzgerald Cemetery.
